Jason Wu
AIA
Principal, Project Manager
Whether the user groups are comprised of a collective of healthcare specialists, business executives or an aging population, Jason’s meticulous professional approach and affable persona offers his clients a streamlined, attentive and satisfying project process. With over 60 managed projects across over 20-year career, Jason’s skill in architect/consultant coordination and communication, specifications writing, and client-facing, as well as his overall knowledge of construction, consistently yields successful results for his clients. His approach to design strives to craft a complete sensory experience – one that harmonizes dynamic elements to elicit both an emotional and physical connection with architectural space. Jason’s abilities and design philosophy have consequently generated impactful spaces across multiple project types, including senior living, laboratory, office and higher education facilities.
Programming and planning for seniors is a specialty that Jason brings to the industry. Jason’s management of several Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) projects has imbued him with profound knowledge of their living spaces, amenities, services and specific needs that is then translated into successful design strategies, all of which aim to facilitate a resident-centric lifestyle. Jason’s professional expertise and attention to detail has been well received at the Sequoias of San Francisco and Portola Valley, as well as The Tamalpais in Marin. His expertise also extends to laboratories and higher education, such as the programming and master plan for the new Biological Sciences Building at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. At over 60,000 sq. ft., the new facility houses 16 laboratories, 13 classrooms, 2 auditoriums, and a multitude of support spaces. Jason is currently co-chair of the FCA Code & Construction Administration Committee, and is often responsible for coordinating the firm’s social events.
