Stanford University medical Center - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Expansion
Expansion of the Pediatric ICU Department – The new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit will provide 20 beds and related support functions on the second floor of Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital. Creative suite concepts were used to solve challenging code exiting requirements, to achieve the maximum number of beds in the space allotted, and to maintain seamless flow between different suites. Playful design and color schemes were used to provide a comfortable and healing environment for children.
